Tip tap, zick zack und das Jahr ist schon wieder rum. Fragt ihr euch auch manchmal wo denn die ganze Zeit so einfach hin verschwindet? Wenn man das Jahr dann Revue passieren lässt, bemerkt man dann aber recht schnell, dass man eigentlich sehr vieles erlebt habt. Generell bin ich keine Person, die mir wunderbare nicht einzuhaltende Vorsätze fürs nächste Jahr macht. Ich lebe eher nach dem Motto: Keep it simple, keep it honest, keep it you. Und das dafür 365 Tage im Jahr.

Das Weihnachten und Silvester heuer auf einen Sonntag gefallen sind, hat mich persönlich enorm gefreut. Denn somit konnte ich diese Tage schon vom Frühstück weg hin bis zum Abendessen mit meinen Mann S. genießen. Für unser Silvesterfrühstück haben wir uns dann ganz was feines einfallen lassen. Wir ließen uns in verschneiter Kulisse, mit einem leckeren Brunch beim Treiben im Lech auf den Jahresabschluss einstimmen. Ich wohne ganz in der Nähe von Lech, doch wenn wir dort einen Besuch machen, ist es als würde man in eine andere Welt eintauchen. Natürlich mit viel Glamour und „Reichtum“ nach außen. Aber das was Lech tatsächlich ausmacht ist das bunte Treiben das im Dorf stattfindet, leckerste regionale Spezialitäten und ein Skigebiet und Gebirge dass es in Vorarlberg kein zweites Mal gibt.

English// Tip tap, zig zag and the year is over again. Do you sometimes ask yourself where the whole time disappears so easily? If you let the year reminisce, then you notice quite quickly that you have actually experienced a lot. In general, I am not a person who makes wonderful intentions for the next year which I won’t follow. I live more with the motto: keep it simple, keep it honest, keep it you. And that 365 days a year.

The Christmas and New Year’s Eve have been on a Sunday this year, I personally really appreciated. Because so I could enjoy these days already from breakfast to dinner with my husband S. For our New Year’s Eve breakfast we have come up with something very nice. We went to Lech – a snowy setting – and had a delicious brunch and got ready for the New Year’s Eve. I live very close to Lech, but always when we visit it, it is like dipping into another world. Of course with a lot of glamor and „wealth“ to the outside. But the reason why I love Lech is the hustle and bustle that takes place in the village, delicious regional specialties and a ski area and mountains that you won’t find a second time in Vorarlberg.
