Nonchalance

Nonchalance

In the current edition of the DOZ, it was très chic in this issue and brands like Face à Face or Lucas de Stael shown. Also I was French this time. Nonchalance was the topic. French people like it unforced and casual. Mastering the French style means dressing casually but still looking chic. The look is stylish and present. And one thing is clear, no matter what season is currently synonymous, a pair of sunglasses is – très chic – and therefore always with the French look.

Black is the color

A variety of colors is not there in this style. Classic, muted colors or a daring red apply. Therefore a black statement eyewear can always be worn well. A real eye-catcher is now and then a bright red lipstick. The lipstick is mysterious and refined. Like the French themselves.

Contrasting is also part of the chic. Wearing an evening dress with an oversized wool sweater is absolutely fine. Tousled hair too. However, the glasses must be perfect. There is no doubt about that. If the whole look is casual and uncomplicated, the glasses should be full of all things and above all quality. French women invest in classics like blazers and bags and they invest in statement glasses. They usually wear the glasses at every time. , They do not care, what others think about them.

Savoir Vivre

While I was sitting in in this French-inspired café, in the middle of my hometown in Austria, I dream of this mysterious nonchalance that envelops me during the photo shoot. I dream of Paris, croissants, fine crepes, a leisurely walk on the Seine. And indeed the longer I sip my coffee and sink into my French thoughts, the more I do not care about the surroundings. Savoir Vivre – „Understanding, to live“ is a French philosophy of life that allows you to consciously enjoy life and to appreciate it in all situations. And that’s exactly what I’m doing right now. So the question is: Are we all a bit nonchalant?
